Passing exams and gaining qualifications is one thing.
Leading projects with confidence, judgement and credibility is another.
Pathfinder is Coron Projects’ self-leadership development programme for project professionals who want to grow beyond job titles, strengthen their confidence, and handle the real-world pressures of project delivery with clarity and control.
Pathfinder focuses on how you think, decide and show up — not just what you know.
Many project professionals are capable, qualified and committed, yet still feel underprepared for the realities of live delivery.
Pathfinder exists to close that gap — helping you build confidence, awareness and leadership maturity alongside your technical skills.
This isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about becoming calmer, clearer and more intentional in complex environments.
Pathfinder exists to close that gap — helping you build confidence, awareness and leadership maturity alongside your technical skills.
Pathfinder combines structured learning with coaching-led reflection, giving you practical tools and space to apply them to your real work.
The programme includes:
Pathfinder is designed to fit around your work – not compete with it.
Pathfinder does not provide mentoring or advice-giving.
Instead, it uses a coaching-led approach that helps you:
Reflect on your own experiences
Develop your own judgement and confidence
Understand how your behaviour affects others
Strengthen your ability to lead under pressure
This ensures your growth is yours, not dependent on someone else’s answers.
Pathfinder is informed by Coron Projects’ leadership and delivery frameworks:
These frameworks guide the learning experience, but Pathfinder remains focused on practical self-leadership rather than theory.
Pathfinder is designed for:
It’s ideal if you want to develop yourself rather than outsource thinking or decision-making.
Pathfinder is about building confidence from the inside out.
If you’re ready to invest in how you lead, decide and perform under pressure, Pathfinder is the place to start.

We offer a community-based approach to project management, where we mentor and encourage each other. You will have access to the Coron Backpack tools and can drop into the group any time for advice or to swap notes or celebrate your wins. Our Coron values mean that you’ll always be able to reach us when you need support.
Joining us means we get to know a circle of great project managers and support each other. Pathfinder gives you access to tools and we will run training from time to time – or members can offer to host training in the group, if you’d also like to mentor others. Sometimes Coron needs to bring in extra people, so we will let our community know first if we are filling a role. For project managers who have less experience, we offer mentoring sessions to help you solve problems in your current role and learn best practice for the future.
When Pathfinder launches, we will have a monthly drop-in meeting hosted by one of the Coron team. We will show you around the Coron Backpack, and discuss the tools and practices that are working well on site. Plus we will have focused sessions hosted by an expert to talk about some of the softer skills – things like NLP or personality profiling, so you can get the best out of your working relationships. The group will be set up with a chat function where you can message any time with your queries. The choice is yours how much time you spend in the community. It’s not live yet, so register your interest by filling in our contact form here.
